Activity 20
Table 4 shows the degree of satisfaction of senior and junior staff related to working conditions. There were a total of seven aspects being examined. However, it was discovered that three aspects have rooms of improvement, and we will give a few recommendations accordingly.
Office Furniture
The figures show that three quarters of senior staff were satisfied with the aspect of office furniture, while more than half junior staff were dissatisfied. The finding suggests that the satisfaction of senior staff was much higher than that of junior staff. One possible reason is the comfort of the furniture provided to the different level of staff were different in design. This can lead to higher risk of health problem of junior staff.
Equipment
The results indicate that more than two third of senior staff were satisfied with the equipment in their working environment, by contrast, just a quarter of junior staff were satisfied with these. This might be because of the old version software used by the junior staff. As result of this is lower working efficiency caused by the difference of compatibility of the software.
Pantry
There were only half of senior staff were satisfied with the pantry, which is exactly the same as the level of junior staff. This seems to be due to the fact that the number of microwave oven is not sufficient to cope with the need of staff during lunch hour. The effect of this might be having long waiting time for using the pantry and reduce their break time.
Activity 1
According to Figure 1, the profits by Mojo in Hong Kong grew steadily from 1994. It reached a peak of 60 millions in 1997. However, it was followed by a sudden drop of 30 millions until 1998. It then continued to slump down to the lowest point of only 20 millions in 1999. Profit then improved significantly towards the end of 2001.
